Rooted in the trauma-informed practices of Reiki and yoga, our approach blends energy healing with intentional movement to support deep restoration, self-discovery, and spiritual alignment. WHAT IS REIKI?

At Mind’s Eye, Reiki is at the heart of what we do—offering a gentle, intuitive path toward healing, balance, and inner peace.
Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a Japanese energy healing technique that promotes relaxation, stress relief, and energetic alignment. It works by channeling spiritually guided life force energy through the hands of a trained practitioner.
This energy flows to where it’s most needed—supporting the body, mind, and spirit in releasing what no longer serves and creating space for clarity, calm, and wellness.
The word “Reiki” comes from the Japanese words Rei (universal wisdom or higher power) and Ki (life force energy). Together, they describe an invisible yet powerful force that supports all living beings. When our life force energy is
low or blocked, we may feel drained, anxious, or unwell. When it flows freely, we feel aligned, vibrant, and more capable of living with ease and intention.
A Reiki session often feels like a warm, radiant glow flowing through and around you. Many people experience deep relaxation, emotional release, or even subtle insights during or after their session. Reiki can complement other healing
modalities and works beautifully alongside traditional medicine, therapy, or wellness practices like yoga and meditation.
While deeply spiritual in essence, Reiki is not a religion and doesn’t require belief to be effective. It is accessible to everyone, regardless of background or spiritual path. At The Mind’s Eye, we hold space for all experiences,

The Power of Blending Reiki + Yoga

At Mind’s Eye Healing, we believe that true transformation happens when the body, mind, and spirit are nurtured together. By weaving together the ancient wisdom of Reiki with the grounding stillness of restorative yoga, we create a powerful space for women to return to themselves—softly, safely, and soulfully.
Restorative yoga invites your body into gentle, supported postures that are held for extended periods of time. These poses allow your nervous system to shift from “fight or flight” into “rest and restore,” making it the ideal foundation
for energy work. As the body physically lets go, deeper layers of emotional and energetic tension begin to release as well.
Reiki is then gently layered into this practice—flowing through light, intentional touch or hovering hands. Reiki energy moves where it’s most needed, helping to clear stagnant energy, soothe emotional wounds, and bring the entire
system back into balance.
